How should I set up or use this mattress to get the best comfort?
Place it on a suitable bed frame or base, then give it time to settle. Its layered natural fillings—mulberry silk, bamboo, cashmere, alpaca, and Moosburger horsetail—work together to balance softness, contour, and breathability.
Who is this mattress best suited for in terms of sleep needs?
It suits sleepers seeking a soft yet supportive surface with exceptional contouring and edge stability, thanks to six-row hand side-stitching and a focus on reducing motion transfer.
What care or maintenance does this mattress require?
The upholstery layers are kept in place with hand tufting and twine to maintain distribution over time; routine rotation is advisable to promote even wear.
How does this mattress perform in terms of temperature and moisture management?
Moisture-wicking mulberry silk and bamboo top layers help carry heat away, contributing to a thermally balanced sleep surface.
Can this mattress be paired with other products in a luxury bedding setup?
Yes, it pairs well with other premium bedding and foundations that support high-end, contouring mattresses and can complement a luxury bedding ensemble.
The Opulence combines four natural fibres—cashmere, alpaca, bamboo, and mulberry silk—across a triple-nested spring architecture to create a sleep surface that is both soft and thermally precise. From the outside in, it leverages moisture-wicking mulberry silk and bamboo to carry heat away, followed by a loft of cashmere and alpaca that contours to the shoulder and hip without resistance, and a resilient Moosburger® horsetail layer that preserves springback under sustained pressure. Real Shetland Wool and cotton deepen thermal mass and help absorb movement, enhancing overall stability and comfort throughout the night.
The three-layer hand-nested vanadium steel pocket spring system features 3,366 independently responding springs in King size, enabling precise contour mapping without transferring motion. Six rows of hand side-stitching reinforce the edge, ensuring consistent support from center to perimeter, while hand-tufting with woollen tufts and twine keeps the upholstery layers properly distributed for the life of the mattress.
